Catshill Village Pizza

I can’t rate the food as it never arrived! My husband placed an order just before 6pm on just eat it was accepted, payment was taken, and we were told our order would be with us by 6.40. At 7.20, our food still had not arrived and was 40 minutes overdue. My husband phoned the restaurant, the call went unanswered. I encouraged him to call again, this time they answered and had trouble finding his order. Once it was found, they told us our food had been prepared but hadn’t been put in the oven yet as (and I quote) “just eat haven’t told us to put it in the oven yet”. Now, I am not being funny, but Just Eat is an advertising and booking app. I will eat my hat if they individually telephone each restaurant and tell them when to put the food in the oven after the order has been accepted. The woman then asked if we would pick up the order we have paid for delivery!! So, why can they bypass the “just eat need to tell us to put it in the oven” rule if we pick it up??? Outrageous. I’m not stupid, I know how just eat works, I have experience working with other third party companies in the past. If we had not called them, we would still be waiting now. We cancelled the order (still awaiting refund) and ordered with papa johns, who we should have ordered with to begin with. Avoid avoid avoid!
