Seastar Fish And Chips - Bournemouth

Reading the mixed reviews beforehand gave me a sense of trepidation. That wasn’t made any better by the fact there were no other customers in sight. But I have to say I was pleasantly surprised! Everything was cooked to order and I have to say the food was pretty good. My haddock was perfectly cooked; tender and succulent. The chips were decent as well. Both the fish and the chips could have been slightly less greasy and more crisp but that’s not to suggest there was anything wrong. The mushy peas were also nuclear grade green, just the way I like them! Portion size was just right as well. Some fish and chip shops can give you too much, which I find a bit wasteful but the servings here filled me up nicely. Perfect to eat on the pier!

Worse fish and chips ever , fish was greasy and NOT cod possibly haddock , chips cold, AVOID The guy cooking was outside having a cigarette and came straight in and served , did not was his hands, a 5* hygiene rating unsure how, will never use it again
