Bidrage med feedbackI popped in here for coffee whilst shopping mid week and found it quiet and clean, comfortable and conveniently accessible for me using a rollator. I opted for a coffee and Muffin offer which was good value, tasty and served nicely. I used my own mug but that did not qualify for the discount advertised, you needed to use their own cups for sale! Neither waitress offered to carry my tray for me so I struggled to carry my order, move my rollator and get round chairs/tables. Normally I’d ask for help, but being my first visit, I wanted to see what the staff did for the less able bodied customers. The muffin was marvelous, but the coffee was a bit weak for a barista. It’s a good meeting place and suitable for socialising though it’s noisy at busy times.
Nearly every table was full of dirty cups and trays the floor was also mucky needed a good tidy up, that said, the two young ladies on duty were charming. A great pity the owner doesn’t employ more staff to keep this outlet clean and tidy. So for that reason give this place a very wide berth
I find this place difficult to use if too many are queuing, in fact even if staff outnumber customers there 'll still be a queue (so wander around the shops that surround this place a bit more, keep one eye on the queue then POUNCE). haha you 'll still be waiting, because staff always seem to be busy with 'something else '. Loads of seating, food prices (just light bites) rather adventurous super coffee.
Lovely staff today, fast service, a few laughs and an excellent coffee, what more could I ask for. Shame I didn’t catch her name, would definitely come back,
Just as things had started to improve with the start of a new staff member who really had it sussed (Janie) visited today and back to terrible service, a manager who didn't appear to have a clue or really Care and staff who looked lost ! The seating area was filthy and not even the excuse of being busy ! Get the new girl back !!! Or even better make her manager !
