Rotisserie Scores - Boucherville

I recently had a negative experience at this restaurant. Unfortunately, a group of children were allowed to continuously use party horns, which completely ruined my Saturday night. None of the staff seemed to address the issue, and as a result, I will not be returning to this establishment. I had to leave with half of my meal in a takeout container. Despite this, I would still rate the food a 4 out of 5.

The food at this restaurant was decent, but be cautious when ordering from the salad bar. I ordered shrimp tacos and the salad bar, expecting to pay $6.99 for the add-on salad. However, I was surprised to see that I had been charged over $17 for a plate of salad when the bill arrived. The waiter explained that the tacos were considered an appetizer and did not qualify for the add-on price, despite this not being clearly stated on the menu. While I enjoy the salad bar, it is certainly not worth $17. It may be helpful for the restaurant to clearly indicate which dishes are appetizers and which are entrees on the menu, or for the waitstaff to ensure that the customer is aware of what they are ordering as an appetizer.

The chicken skewers were so tender and flavorful that they practically melted in my mouth. I'm not quite sure how to feel about that - some say it's a sign of proper cooking. The chef in the kitchen clearly knows what they're doing. However, I've never experienced chicken quite like this before and it left me feeling a bit unsettled. Overall, I would give the food a 3 out of 5.

I have not gone there in years. But wow what a surprise. We had the Portuguese chicken. Season and cook was amazing. Service was great. And place looked clean. My only criticism would be that there needs to be a spicy version of the chicken.We have been to 10 or so restaurants over the past few months. This is one of 2 that we will return to in the future. And they had the baseball game on TV.Kid-friendliness: The waiter took the time to listen and had the patience to let each one of my young kids order their meal.

Although there were very few patrons in the restaurant, the service was not good. The server never came to refill water or ask if everything was OK. We had to walk to find her to ask for more sauce for the almost dry poutine and water. The two servers and maitre were sitting at a booth wiping menus and talking. After waiting 10 minutes for a leftover box, I got up and left with my grandson while my husband stood up signaling that we were ready to leave. We have gone there often, but we're very disappointed this time, especially since the place was almost empty.
