Woad Farm Chippy - Boston

I have only had the haddock so I can not comment on the other items of the extensive item available, however if the quality and portion size of the haddock was to be used as a guide it's a good one. Loverly friendly service from Julie Mick delivering great value many thanks guys.

I have visited this restaurant a few times before and I have always enjoyed it, but my last experience was disappointing. The cod was extremely thin and small, probably the smallest I have ever seen. I had to return it once I got home. It seems like they were aware of this issue since the fish was covered with chips. On the plus side, they refunded my money as they acknowledged that the dish was below standard. Unfortunately, I will not be returning. It appears that they are now focusing more on kebabs and pizzas.

The food at this restaurant is excellent and the staff are wonderful, always polite and willing to go above and beyond for customers. They also offer gluten-free options at the same price as the regular menu, which sets them apart from other similar establishments in town. With all of this in mind, I give them a thumbs up.

I moved to Boston in March and tried two other Chippies before I discovered this one. It HAS to be the best in the Fishtoft area, simply because… Their chips and other foods is the best I’ve tasted for a long while, their prices are very reasonable, plenty of on street parking available within a few steps of the shop, the staff are always cheerful and they do ‘scraps’ (or as we used to call them in Coventry ‘scratchings’! There is nothing else to say except they do home deliveries too though I’ve not tried this service.

Waited ages on food staff was rude when asked about my order as waited so long myself nor my family will be back food was not worth the wait or the money fish was watery feel very let down after hearing place was nice
