Yellow Door Taqueria - Boston

I had a wonderful dining experience at this restaurant! We visited during a quieter time and the food was delicious. The Nachos were especially tasty and I really enjoyed them.

The atmosphere at Yellow Door is great! The service staff is nice, but the servers tend to spend a lot of time talking at the host stand. The salsa was fresh and had a nice kick to it. The queso chorizo was good, but a bit thick and the cheese was slightly grainy. The garnish of Fresno chilies was a nice touch. The chicken empanadas were fresh and arrived at the table steaming hot. They were sweet on the inside, similar to a pot pie with sweet creamed corn. I found the tomatillo salsa to be a bit too acidic, but enjoyed dipping the empanadas in the red salsa instead. The Birria quesotacos were tasty, but not as crispy as I would have liked. The meat was beefy and rich, but lacked some typical flavors like cinnamon and chilies. I appreciated the addition of cheddar cheese for a sharp touch. Overall, my experience at Yellow Door was enjoyable. I wish the servers were more attentive, but the food was good and I would definitely return.

I adore the intricate flavors of the tacos. Each one is like a little explosion of taste in a freshly made tortilla.

The atmosphere of this place was such a vibe. The food came out fast hot and really delicious, our waitress Colleen she was beautiful sweet and a vibe too. Them crispy chicken wings is a must order. And then Nacho can feed 4 and it’s was hubby andI. 5 star for the staff plus atmosphere. Will go again

Ordered delivery really good packaging for transport. From what we ordered, I can recommend getting the elote, birria, and queso carne taco. The chili duck taco was dry and I'd avoid that one entirely. Overall, I'd order again.
