Stephanie's On Newbury - Boston

We ate dinner here on Friday evening, sat outside, and really enjoyed it. The filet mignon was outstanding. I enjoyed my baked potato and green beans. My wife loved her hamburger. The only reasons it is 4 stars instead of 5 are that the French fries were mediocre (covered in batter) and the Coke tasted funny. We will absolutely come back for that filet and burger... we'll just drink water and get something other than fries...

Came here for brunch on our Boston visit and it was great! Good ambiance outside on the patio and the patio is in the shade. We started with loaded home fries and monkey bread which were both good. Our group had a breakfast burrito, breakfast sandwich, short rib hash and breakfast skillet. We loved the food! Our waitress was a bit absent but other than that it was great!

My family had breakfast here on a recent Saturday morning. We had a reservation for an outside table and showed up on time. The hostess told us with a stink eye that we could not be seated until my wife who was 5 minutes late was present. So, the rest of my family stood on the sidewalk staring at empty tables until our party was complete. Not a good start. Service was fast and accommodating. The food was average, unseasoned and expensive. Lots of attitude but little salt and pepper.

Probably the most mid brunch I've had in a while. Eggs were dry and meals/drinks overpriced. Could probably find better brunch elsewhere in the city
