Bab Al-yemen Boston

Best food I’ve had in years- I’ve had the privilege of eating in so many well reviewed starred restaurants, the food and the service here cannot be missed. I’m already planning on when I can go next!

Foods are excellent, service is little slow, I did not like eggplant appetizer because it served cold and did not have enough spices. Bathrooms are not clean enough. Rice is little bit greasy.

We enjoyed our time at BAY after reading about it in Edible Boston. The food was very fresh and deliciously spiced and perfect for our whole food plant based eating. Thank you!

As someone who has had a lot of middle eastern food, I can solidly say that the food wasn't even close to middle eastern. The rice was bland, kabsa tasted like a watered down biryani and mandi was just tasteless. Chicken for the kabsa was also not a shawaya type but rather coated in masala. Disappointed.

Overall a good experience, menu is limited, need more options.
