Puteri Malaysian Cafe and Restaurant

On a Sunday night at 7pm, there were around 15 customers dining in the restaurant. It closes at 8:30pm. I was the only one with a craving for a beef dish, but unfortunately they couldn't serve me due to being too busy. It's disappointing that a restaurant would turn away a first-time customer. In this day and age, it's surprising. I have three options: a) return when they have availability, b) wish the 15 customers well and success, or c) leave a negative review and never go back.

My partner and I stumbled upon this hidden gem by chance. If we hadn't seen the small sign in the arcade, we would never have found it. Despite being nearly empty at 8:45pm (they close at 9), we decided to give it a try since we were starving. My partner ordered the nasi goreng and I ordered the cha kway teow. Both dishes were incredibly flavorful and had the perfect level of spiciness. My partner even claimed it was the best nasi goreng he's had outside of Malaysia. I tried it and loved it. My noodles were cooked to perfection and packed with flavor. We also tried the satay skewers, which were delicious. We wish we lived closer so we could enjoy this authentic and tasty food more often. The service was friendly and the prices were fair. Definitely recommended for anyone in the area looking for good, honest food.

This restaurant has a variety of innovative dishes that are definitely authentic. The staff is wonderful and the atmosphere is perfect for relaxing. I have been back many times.
