Monelli - BORGO VAL DI TARO

We have visited this restaurant many times over the years and it has always delivered. The food was really good and reasonably priced. Lovely restaurant, tastefully decorated and a great atmosphere. We all chose dishes that included truffles and we were not disappointed. The chef came out to show us the truffles he had and they smelt divine! Definitely recommend this restaurant.

While staying in Borgo Val Di Taro we got a taxi to take us hear as we had heard how good it was. Best tagliolini al tatatufo dish my wife has ever had. My nephew had two of the same puddings because it was so good. The chef was first class and very entertaining.

This restaurant always has local, fresh menu items that are warm and welcoming. Whether you eat inside, or sit out on the patio and enjoy the rustic countryside, eating at Monelli is a treat. We come here each time we visit Italy. I suspect that few random travelers pass by this way, but it 's a nice stop when you find yourself up in the mountains!
