Caffe Giglio Creperie - BORDIGHERA

A location that has been a creperie since 1900, very good crepes, not too heavy or thick. Had chocolate and banana as well as creme patissiere with fresh fruit. Both excellent.

Located on the main drag in Bordighera, this creperie was a nice surprise. After spending the day in Monaco and having the worst crepe I have ever had, my group was on a mission to have a crepe worth eating when we spotted Creperia Caffee Giglio. We walked in a were greeted with by the husband and wife team who run the place. I had the opportunity to order #62, the crepe with mushrooms, truffle oil, and an egg. Others ordered the brie and spinach, and bananas and nutella. Eat was had such great flavors and really hit the spot. We all ordered adult drinks also on the menu. I had the peach vodka with ginger ale. The drink was dangerously delicious and went very well with my crepe. Each crepe was around 5€ and was totally worth it. This is by no means a large meal, but rather a nice aperative or small meal to help balance out the rest of our culinary journey. Quite delicious and relaxing. Go there for drinks or just a light meal. Stay and let your long days of traveling melt away.
