Upon request we got the curry with tofu but the tofu tasted a bit funny

Fair vegan options- I enjoyed the pumpkin soup and yucca fries- but not necessarily oriented towards health food. Nice ambience outside in the evening with string lights and picnic benches. Lots of expats dining indoors, watching sports on TV.

We stopped for lunch and several vegan dishes were on the menu. We enjoyed the hummus and yuca fries. We hope to return for the pumpkin soup. They have live music at night and during brunch (non-vegan). Lots of expats. Nice service. Cash only.

Vegan Chilli was very good but nothing exciting. Unfortunately not as many alternatives, there are many American things like e.g. B. Burger

Mike's is a fantastic spot for meeting expatriates. The owners, Mike and Heidi, put in extra effort to assist local charities. The food is outstanding, and the daily specials are a delightful bonus. We always feel warmly welcomed and love the ambiance, situated right on a creek. We visit often and find the prices to be fair for both locals and tourists.
