Bidrage med feedbackThe newly redecorated Tanglewood at the Hyatt Regency Coconut Point is fresh and comfortable. The food was delicious. We had the Surf and Swine which was fabulously cooked pork belly seared, glazed scallops on a bed of special rice with a Demi glaze and roasted carrots. YUM! Also at our table we're deviled eggs a bit salty for my taste) and a kids cheese pizza which was nice tho quite hot for children. Service was attentive and pleasant. Food took a while to come out, but worth it.
We ate here because it was the first night of our stay. Kid pizza and Mac and cheese was good but our entrees were served partially cold and were inedible. We would have asked for them to be heated but I don't think that would have helped.
I had reservations for 5 for a special occasion. When we arrived we were told the restaurant was closed for renovations. The only other restaurant open was bar type food. Not the brunch we made reservations for. We were not happy....
Excellent food and even better customer service! Ashley was our waitress and was so friendly and personable, she made us feel like we had known her forever! Fish tacos and pizza was on our meals and were excellent in taste and quantity.
The food is not good at all. Ravioli came in hot water vs. sauce. Pizza has no taste or sauce. The shrimp scampi came with way over cooked angel hair. The waiter service wasn't pleasant. The place was empty for a very full busy hotel on Labor Day weekend. That should've been a sign. However I have to admit the interim manager Sydney was very nice and accommodating to us at the end. Will eat off property next time.
