Juba Pizza - Bonham

I wanted to love this place so much. My coworker and I have heard great things about this place since we started working in Bonham, however, we were very disappointed. We came around 12:30pm on a Friday and the place had about two tables of people dining in and a bar with about 6 8 people. My friend and I simply ordered an appetizer and two burgers (no fries, no drink included, etc) and our total was $33 without the tip. The number we were handed to set at our table was disgusting and had a thick black tar substance that transferred to our hands and the table we sat at (it never got picked up the entire time we ate here by the way). Our appetizer that we ordered was supposed to come with fried pickles and fried jalapeño slices, it came with about 5 pickle slices and tasted like whatever it was fried in hadn't been cleaned in awhile. The wait time for our appetizers and two burgers literally took 30 minutes and when it finally came out it looked like it had been sitting out for some time. I personally got the CPC burger with a fried egg, meat, and cheese it tasted like metal and the egg was already broken and had made the bread and basket paper underneath soggy before I even took a bite. My friend got a chili burger and hers couldn't even be picked up with the amount of cold chili sitting on top. This place was so gross and unfortunately I do not recommend ever coming to eat here. Perhaps the pizza is better and maybe it's a good place to drink, but 10/10 would NOT recommend. I did leave 2 stars because the bartender was very friendly at the bar and it seemed to have a nice bar atmosphere.

Never been here when it’s busy, so can’t comment on that, time to get food wasn’t bad since they were slow, food isn’t bad, slightly over priced for what you get but taste decent as far as bar food goes. Staff is super nice but not very attentive, even it being slow it takes a few minutes to be acknowledged. Be prepared to pay for literally everything, sauces are over $1.50 each. Atmosphere is what you’d expect, a bar atmosphere. If it wasn’t for those couple things , would have been a 5 star. Great place for pizza and pool and drinks of course. Family friendly lol or at least my family enjoys going
