Bidrage med feedbackA great day in the beach road hotel with some friends spent on birthday. great atmosphere and great quantity. I haven't been here for a few years and wow has changed. that is now the place to go into bondi. Wednesday/Saturday evening they have fantastic djs above that are free. great chance to have a drink and a boogie without paying to get into the front door. just as early as the line starts in the early evening.
Beach road hotel has a recently renovated and offers some pretty sweet features for sydney siders to enjoy. there are several sections in the hotel to be in for whatever mood they can. the ground floor consists of the pub kitchen and the dining area, the bar and the dining area, the pool table and the play area and an inside courtyard in the free. in the upper floor you will find bar luca burger as well as some dance areas with different music the mood is always alive and with floor covering windows and large open doors all around, its very fresh as well as, not like a dim illuminated pub feel. the drinks are cheap and the service is also good. eating is not on the cheap side...read more
Came here to satisfy my desire for hot wings. I like to load it. I'm sure it's great to have some drinks. even though the wings were not what I was hoping for. a bit dry and not enough hot soße for my pleasure.
Had a really disappointing night here recently. we went to check the trivia and it's so incredibly bad it's funny. the trivia mc could not even speak astrologers, so he got a guy in the publikum to read the questions for him. then he took the poor guy all night. Eat was okay. Nothing to rave. the advertised specials (fajitas) were also not available in the night, because they did not sell enough of it.
This place is quintessential Bondi – rustic interiors, men with beards and girls in bikinis all enjoying kale smoothies from dawn to dusk. They are predominately a wine bar despite being a popular breakfast haunt, and make one of the most generous cheese and meat boards I have ever feasted on, and best of all their delicious food and wine can be enjoyed looking at the ocean. The staff are knowledgeable about their wine, and will sit down and talk you through the options, and life if they are in the mood. So if you like your own space or don’t like talking to strangers… keep walking.
