The Tavern Fayre At Hunger Hill Bolton

The food was so good last Sunday that we again on this Sunday it was excellent again, this is fast to my favorite place to pick family friends and also always enjoy our visits, the staff are friendly, the eating drinks are always first advice.

Came here to lunch, a group of 8 friends, on October 13th. ate from the “light” menu and was pleasantly surprised by the portion sizes. everyone enjoyed their meal, so much, we have booked our Christmas dinner here.

Found this place about travel adviser-on our way to home for a place to lunch. we were not disappointed! the afternoon when we arrived, was busy, received a warm welcome. wait for the table. 3 Sunday dinners ordered. well served loones and savours delicious. 15/20 minutes are waiting for the meal. lean, well cooked meat (doork for 2 of us and bark for 1), bark meat melted in the mouth! maize and roast, crushed carrots, broccoli and cauliflower cut with Yorkshire puppies! veg perfect, not squishy and over boiled in contrast to some we had. perfect puds have finished our meal. a good price food round in well maintained clean, well organized pub. will definitely add this place to my list when it is over again!

They would definitely recommend, we celebrated the 70. my mother in the tavern last night, the eating was excellent, the staff could no longer come forward and friendly as we were a big group and the service was no longer.

Lovely staff. Very helpful and cheery. It was very busy for a midday Tuesday however there were lots of other Christmas meal diners too. The Christmas meal was delicious with great quality ingredients and presented very appetisingly. Will definitely visit again soon!!!
