Restaurant la Chaudiere

Third visit and still fabulous. warm personal, simple parking and delicious lunch. go for the specials board and try something French you will not be disappointed!

On the way north west we went la chaudiere when we looked somewhere to eat at lunchtime. fortunately, there was a traffic around a kilometre on the road so that we turned back and into the autobahn. the restaurant was quite busy, but we were made to get very welcome and eat and wein served by a very friendly and efficient waitress. the covered outdoor restaurant area is very attractive and eating was excellent when they go through this part of frankreich and need a good restaurant, it is worth a deviation, they will not be disappointed!

This is a must to stop lunch on a trip to the south. If you arrive in Calais before 9 and boot it, you can make lunch until 1. Just avoid the camera at the entrance to the first Rouen tunnel and traffic in the round... before Chartres. Do not speak much English, but go for the special or random choice. All cooked. We had huge shrimps, rabbits and beef. Much better than the Chartres MacDs or rubbishy Autogrills.

J'ai adoré ce restaurant que je ne connaissais pas la cuisine traditionnelle de haute gamme un accueil chaleureux nous avons passé une très bonne soirée une table à conseiller en Eure et Loir
