Double Tap Pub - Boise

My favorite restaurant just became my bad restaurant experience because of the terrible waitress who didn't give us a salt shaker with the lid. When my husband put a salt spray on his food, the whole shaker dug on his food. When we called the waitress, she laughed and blamed him for not making this mistake. He did the best he could by eating most of him, but could eat only 2-3 bites of a $20 burger. No excuse not to do things right. When I asked her if she could do anything about it, she said no, I have no authority to remove her or bring a new one. No excuse. Then she tried to say he ate more than half. I told her BS, then she began to raise her voice to me that she wasn't her fault that she didn't even fill up the salt shakers. I told her, but you brought him that way and then laughed. I told her I wanted her manager name, and then she said I was gonna take it off and ran on her back and wept. We had to tell her we needed our check back so we could go. Unreal lack of customer service. This will ruin a business if your waiting staff sabotages food then laugh about it. Shame waiting for Double Tap staff!!!!

Wonderful staff. Great food and beer at a great price. Cosy place to catch any game with many TVs. Verteran heard what a nice touch was. One of the best bars in Boise, ID!

The Hamburger meter was pinched at 100 when I finished my last meal at Double Tap. This is the best burger in Treasure Valley. 1/2 pound beef filled with some of the add-ons you choose like cheese. Order customers by marking a laminated selection menu that has too many options to insert into this review. The combinations are overwhelming, but you can design the perfect burger for yourself. My partner in crime chose a chicken Caesar wrap and said the chicken the sauce was the best she ever had in her long life. This review would not be completed if I did not mention her freshly cut Idaho potato that she would die for her to die for Fritten. We once made a meal of only their garlic frits and drink two. Drinking two is helpful for the wallet. The food costs were also easy on the budget. This is our new prelude warm up spot before the Idaho Steelheads Hockey games only 1 1/2 blocks away from the Arena Stolper distance. The only drawback is the time it takes to make the food. Plan for a slow meal. It was a problem for us to get a bit of orientation to get the great quality from this kitchen. The interior is a normal diving bar with wide screens everywhere along with sports monuments. Booth, table and bartop support customers. For better weather months there is a very nice terrace. There are metered street parking places, but most people choose ParkBoi parking places because we don't want the city of Boise to dispense with the derivation of the last drops of blood from visitors and residents. No photos because there are many photos of the kitchen and the interior.

I don't drink now, but I eat. That was my first time, so I just ordered a burger with pommes. Some things in the menu are expensive. My order was $14 plus tax, but it filled me. My friend met another friend there. I don't value the drinks since I don't drink. Water is what I prefer. I'm sorry. But it's a great place to hang around with friends or family and socialize.

Excellent burgers (beef and elk). Friendly staff. Good tap beer selection, full bar and reasonable prices.Food: 4/5
