EL Poblado - Bogotá

Was taken here yesterday by a local, and was very satisfied. This is a middle to high-end restaurant that offers a great value. Beautiful inside, the restaurant pitches itself as rustic Colombian. My friend strongly suggested we order the beans. So we did. And they...were unlike any beans I had eaten. Go to Poblados. Eat the beans.

Delicious food. Nice atmosphere. The aroz con pollo was so good! Pulled chicken mixed with rice and veggies, came with fries. The staff is very nice. I ate here twice on my trip to Bogota.

My friends and I had dinner at this restaurant twice during our five day stay in Bogota. We loved the food so much that we had to go back lol and it was very affordable. The service there was great.

In its new location in ave with El Poblado has a large menu of typical and delicious colombian food. The terrace looks like the typical houses in small towns in Antioquia. Beautiful place, full of space, light, well located. Easy to get walking...few meters to the street by bus, or taxi. If you go there beans are recommended in any presentation.

You think in Bogota is easy to find good Colombian cuisine but it isn't. I've visited many expensive restaurants and I was always disappointed. Our aunt wants to invite us for lunch and someone recommended El Poblado. I was not very excited about it but I change my mind after I see the food, it looks great and it taste great.
