Borgtun As Borgtun Kro - Boestad

I saw in tourist brochures and on the notice outside that Borgtun Kro at 8360 Bøstad in Norway was a Kafe Pub, so I went. It is not a pub at all and did not sell beer. The staff did not even know if or when it would sell beer, despite the fact it had a bar plus a beer pump. It was not even a convenient cafe or kafe either because it does not open until 12 midday! A good cafe should be open at 07:00 or sooner to sell breakfast. Borgtun Kro at 8360 Bøstad was the most inconvenient place I found after 4 weeks in Norway going from Bergen to Nordkapp and back, so I do not recommend Borgtun Kro to anybody.

Good service, a decent burger and really good driver

Right at the beginning we were disappointed because we wanted to have a steak from vellery fish and they told us that they didn't have it. Then we ordered Burger, Rybr, and a meat mixture. Fish good meat mixture could be eaten and Burgr was a semi-finished product. We ate quite a bit, but to be honest, I would go elsewhere next time. So if you are looking for something very average, this is exactly it. It was clean and the service was ok. We will start with the food. I ordered a fishburger with fries. The fries was good but the fishburger? Thank god i still have good teeth. It was at some places Stone hard. Then my 11 year old ordered a chicken dish. This was so full of fat that the whole plate was almost covered in Oil and fat. She got sick. Other then that my wife, son and ohther little girl had ok Foods. My friend went to get knifes! They where all dirty and they had to wash them all. There food was good to. The girl that worked there was friendly and served our meals. But when u pay 1100 kr for 5 meals well it should be at a bit higher standards.
