The Chapel At The Bodmin Jail

Excellent eating and the environment is unique. our waiter was excellent. contempt and friendly, without being intrusive. very interesting about eating that helped us to choose. it was my partner birthday and they kindly gave us a chocolate dessert with happy birthday, which was so friendly and tasty. we were full and have not ordered dessert. but we managed to eat everything! it was a very quiet evening. it was just us both until we almost finished our meal when two other people arrived. this is not the fault of the restaurant. it was a bit januar on a Tuesday night, so that even the fact that eating and the waiter did such good work was commendable. the bar person who greeted us was very friendly and obviously had tried to eat as talked about our decisions when he had enjoyed them. we will definitely return.

Eating was great, and the restaurant well presented, sadly this was left off by the service. the restaurant tries to be something that it is not. If you want to offer a quality experience, there must be a better training of the staff. nowhere around dumb, no dress order (some customers wear jeans and trainer). as a couple we sat next to a group of four celebrating a birthday when there were many empty tables. the waiter reached over my partner to serve his brot without waiting for him to speak with the waitress. the main square was served before clearing the starter plates. my partner saw that the waiter came out of the kitchen with the net, realized that our starter plates were not deleted, he went back to the kitchen before he came and cleaned our teller and served the net. After the conclusion of our main thing, we were asked if we wanted desert or coffee, but we didn't. we were then gone and although we tried to get the attention of the staff for 40 minutes, we couldn't. during this time it would have been nice to have another drink. Finally, a waiter came with her drinks on the table next to us, they complained to him that they had not their main courses, they had arrived before us and were served their starters at the same time as we were. we used this opportunity to ask for our bill. there were four employees and the employees of the maître d, and at the most busy time 28 clientele. During our mealtimes, three different employees were cared for, their employees should have tables to focus on their customers and provide a qualitatiw high-quality service. in everything we were disappointed.

We had a wonderful experience in the restaurant of the Chapel. eating was amazing, the personal was attentive and friendly and it was a very special atmosphere. I would recommend this to all my friends and my family.

Food does not correspond to expectations. fish dish had much too much sauce, over salted and too rich. the starters were better than the net.

I took my husband to this restaurant for his 60th birthday. My husband and I had a fabulous meal. The staff were very friendly and polite. The food was excellent and very tasty. The ligh5 show and music were very fitting for the Chapel. We took our time and were not rushed as we wanted to enjoy the whole experience. We loved our cocktails in the cocktail bar before being taken to the restaurant. Would highly recommend this, especially for a special occasion.
