Maya Rooftop Restaurant - Bodh Gaja

This is a great place to dine. The food is incredibly tasty, the staff is attentive and friendly, and the management is excellent. The service is fast, and the open rooftop seating is a nice touch. Whether you're with friends, family, or a special someone, you're sure to have a lovely time enjoying delicious food here.

The restaurant has exquisite decor and the management is excellent. I give it 5 stars. There is nothing more to say, it is simply excellent.

We were extremely disappointed to discover that this restaurant is closed during the off-season, especially after the nearby hotel has been closed for two months. We had planned our evening around dining at this location and watching the sunset from the rooftop, so we were very upset.

Last year, We stayed for breakfast, lunch and dinner at the restaurant, because we were for the first time in this pension for several days. We could see the wonderful view from the restaurant. There were not high buildings near the restaurant, and...so we saw 360-degree panoramic views. For example, Mahabodhi Temple, Myanmar Golden Temple, great peaceful farms and so on. And then the cook worked at the restaurant in Japan, the dishes were so delicate and so delicious. He could make Indian food, European snacks and delicate drink. (Lime juice with salt or sugar, ginger honey, chai... I was glad to be taught how to make the original Chai;

As usual a best place to have food in open place. There are several kinds of food available including Indian, Japanese and Chinese foods. It's nice and quite place and the view of Bodhgaya is good from the roof of this hotel. Food taste good.
