Unfortunately, the quality of the chefs has also dropped extremely. Since I always take the same dish, you notice the differences. Some chefs simply forget ingredients, others change the mixing ratio, and again others let the fillet burn because they are too lazy to store it on an additional plate. So it comes that one and the same court tastes completely different and is in part almost unusable. I strongly recommend retraining in preparation. Absolutely corrosive is also the practice of closing the cooking mirror prematurely. The noodles are then sprayed with cleaning agents and the noodles are steamed 5cm further in the water. ****! In the meantime, I prefer the good old pizzeria. The prices are just as high, but you are served and the cook knows what he does. The franchise should rethink the concept. First it's cool to come to dinner, but it's not funny in the long run.

With a large opening party, a Vapiano restaurant at Bochumer Husemann-Platz opened its doors. Restaurant manager Jörg Braun greeted his guests with pasta, pizza and salad and presented one of the first restaurants in the new design, which are now active in 26 countries. The new design focuses on clear lines, lighter furniture and special design elements. The “Fresh Casual Dining” chain, which was created in Hamburg in 2002, continues its expansion. With an investment volume of more than two million euros, a new attraction has emerged in the city centre of Bochum. Guests should feel like friends. This is why Vapiano not only focuses on fresh and qualitative ingredients, but also on a relaxed atmosphere. Around 80 employees, many of them in part-time or as a helper, have hired Jörg Braun for the restaurant and taken every one of them very well. In the restaurant, located five minutes from the Bermuda triangle, you will find a Mediterranean atmosphere. 255 seats on almost 450 square meters and an outdoor area still in the rear with 154 seats ensure that many guests find space. Payment is made in Vapiano using a chip card. The staff at the various gastronomic stations book the ordered food and beverages. It is then paid when leaving the restaurant. After a new design concept by Matteo Thun, the restaurant uses soft colours, soft leather and modern chairs. Handwritten recipes as well as a partly planted wall provide a special ambience just like atmospheric images. The traditional 100-year-old olive tree is preserved in all Vapiano restaurants. This fits well to the derivation of the name “Vapiano” by the Italian proverb “Chi va piano, va sano e va lontano” – Who is loose and relaxed in life lives healthier and longer.
Nice concept: The food is made fresh and individual in front of your own eyes. The staff are very friendly and the prices are also more than TOP! The branch is beautifully large and has many places that are often completely occupied. The payment concept is excellent.
