Racks Downtown Eatery + Tavern

Slow service on an evening that wasn't really so busy. Good shares were good, value for money.

Always great food, friendly service, relaxing place. we had red pizzas that had beautiful carmeled crust. Caesar salad, too.

Beautiful decor, food well presented. Service was lack of gloss.

Food and ambiance was usual, EXCELLENT. Our waitress was very nice but started by offering bottled water which we ordered and then we asked for tap. should have mentioned tap first ...also rushed us a bit with NOBODY waiting for a table...also...she was a bit too much of a sales person of the food....we get it, we love it, leave us alone: Overall, I got a sense she was new there and trying VERY hard.....certainly a good waitress just tone done a bit. We are devotees of Racks so we of course will be back again!

Food was excellent. My husband had the chicken and waffles, it was delicious. Service started very good but by the end of the meal the waiter disappeared. We had to wait over 15 minutes for the waiter to check on us and ask if we wanted anything else. At that point we skipped the dessert.
