Village On The Beach

I have always went to Village on the Beach since it's opening. The owner was wonderful and really cared about his patrons. The food was amazing and the service was equal to that. I'm not sure what happened but this time around my boyfriend and I have gone there twice because we knew that it would be a comfortable atmosphere and great food. How I was disappointed... I ordered the fried fish and my boyfriend ordered the spaghetti bolognese. The texture of the fish was strange, it looked like it was overcooked and doused in soy sauce (not sure what seasoning it was but it was very dark), the fries were cold. I fed the fish to a stray cat. My boyfriend's spaghetti barely had color. Meaning not much sauce and barely any meat. It just tasted like salt. He took 2 bites and he was done. I've recommended this place for years but unfortunately I can no longer do that. Is it under new ownership? We just wanted a quiet dinner and didn't get that. Not only was the food BAD but there was a drunk guy blasting music so loud that we couldn't converse and I ended up with a migraine. Do they deserve a 3rd chance this go round? I say no, don't want to waste another dime of my hard earned money. It's too bad because this WAS my GO TO.

I had a great time there ,wonderful stuff. And great chef.
