This is our new favorite spot and its right around the corner! Tried the beef sandwich on focaccia bread and it was outstanding! Also, tried the cinnamon roll.... Out of this world. Might not of been the best idea to try that cause now we are hooked!!!!

Best Cinnamon Rolls EVER! In fact, ALL of the pastries (tried 7 of them so far) are fabulously delicious. Far better than a good bakery and elevated with quality ingredients and not trendy spices. This is a community Cafe and has great vibes with the Staff invested in Blue Island and its people. Absolutely a great addition to the food world! Delicious food!!!!! This review is from a true Foodie having eaten out 1 to 3 times a day for the past 50 years. The pastries are worth my two hour drive to get to the B*U*B. Congratulations to the Team.

It was a blur on Tuesday afternoon when I stopped in rock island public house to cool my hair for a magic. I was immediately greeted with a warm hallo by butter upon bacons gerry. he served me a rubber bear and a burger with a fastness and skill I rarely see in action. it was really an unforgettable experience that I will soon forget.
