That's Amore - Bloomsburg

I drive truck and was happy to stop in PA so I could get a cheese steak. With how well the Cheese Steak Special was rated, I wanted to try it. When I saw sauce in the description, I would never have guessed it to be marinara sauce. I was expecting something like a garlic aoli or other mayonnaise derivative as that makes sense on a cheese steak. Marinara over powers the cheese steak and it tastes more like a pizza. The meat was entirely coated in "sauce" Making it taste more like a meatball sub. A cheese steak has 2 main ingredients and nothing should cover their flavors, cheese and steak. This was a total waste of money as they could have replaced the meat with dog food for all you could taste of it. I ordered extra cheese, but barely saw any. Stay away from the Cheese Steak Special. Stromboli was another craving I have had, and ordered that as well to eat later. Be warned, the Thats Amore Stromboli is not a stromboli, but an oversized calzone. It tasted delicious, but the bread was wrong as was the shape. The marinara sauce that came with it tasted cheap and generic. I really wanted to like this place, but I cannot recommend this place any less. I would give it zero stars if I could.

App: rock hard onion rings, no cheese in the mozzarella sticks, fries were decent, chicken was tasty Chicken Francaise: chicken was ok. penne was mushy, over done, with watered down tasting sauce. stuffed pizza was decent.

With my family on the way thru city for a late lunch. they all ordered warm meals while I come on the truthahn and cheese pack that comes with salat, tomato and mayonnaise and one side of fritten. they got the package! I did not take a single bite, because no one wants steamed, confused salat or hot mayonnaise, but they did not offer to replace it or even remove it from our $80 shaft. the rest of the food was decent, but no one was overly impressed. I have published this review on their Facebook page, and instead of responding and offering it to make it right when we have come new, they deleted the review and blocked me. So now I put it on any evaluation page I can find.

That was the worst place I've ever eaten. eating is so overpriced, small portions and so salty. they add salt to cover the taste and burn everything. if they try to question the portions and prizes, they get evil. don't waste your money here!

The first time in the city. this place is cool and they have great crust with many different options u dont see that often
