The Geeky Grub - Bloomfield

I visited this small restaurant tonight with my wife. We were en route to Bloomington and decided to stop by The Geeky Grub after speaking with the chef about our visit. We both ordered The Notorious PIG, a delicious pork burger made with freshly ground meat that was cooked to perfection. It was topped with a homemade bacon marmalade, which added a great touch. Although my wife doesn’t usually eat pork, she really enjoyed her sandwich, especially with an added layer of cheese. As a side note, the restaurant wasn't offering sit-down service due to COVID, but the staff was fantastic and the food was served hot. The total cost for our meal was $19, which I felt was a great value for the quality of the food. I'm not sure how long The Geeky Grub has been around, but I definitely plan to return for more of their amazing food. If you enjoy hole-in-the-wall spots, this is definitely a great choice. I highly recommend it—if you're a local and haven't tried this place yet, you're truly missing out on something special!

Amazing food! The BLT was absolutely incredible. They delivered it and even packaged the lettuce and tomato separately to keep the bread from getting soggy. The brownies were warm and delicious. I can't praise Geeky Grub enough!
