Bidrage med feedbackIn beautiful weather, and we had this today, we drove from Saarbrücken quickly to Niederwürzbacher Weiher to turn it comfortably. You can also handle it as we have done today: get the first free bank, take a place on it and let yourself look from the sun. So or so; the excursion to the Niederwürzbacher Weiher necessarily ends in the beer garden of the restaurant Junkerwald! With rising outside temperatures, the possibilities for free places are decreasing, sometimes you have to be patient. Today it worked smoothly. Service: In excursion halls the service or the staff is equipped with significantly stronger nerve costumes than elsewhere; Families with toddlers, groups, dog owners, beekeepers, seniors want to be served friendly and fast, as well as the normal guest. This is not always easy for service, but in the Junkerwald you were at the service of the guest, never lose patience or kindness. It is often operated with a funny spell, small children are really touched (in one case, even the cook brings a running baby back to the affected parents), because the numerous four-legged guests are always ready for water dishes. The boss also closes the service with a stronger guest appearance without great words. For a day trip, the service that has never seen a hotel school from the inside is amazingly good: four and a half stars are not too much for it. Cleanliness: There is nothing under the tables, they are not grounded or clean, but clean. The same applies to indoor and toilets; there are four stars. Because in many excursions, the outer area of a garbage dump in high operation is exactly the same; Not here! Ambience: The beer garden is beautiful, in itself a little divided and not too big; You really feel comfortable here. Too bad we don't have such a beautiful beer garden in the town area Saabrücken! The interiors are suitably furnished; it's more beautiful out there! Three and a half stars! Food: Last year we were not so satisfied with food (see report); Today it was clearly better from our point of view. However, it is not to understand why there are no cold dishes on the map in the Junkerwald. The times of Russenei or Restoration Bread are (unfortunate) past, but ham, sausage or cheese bread are still part of an excursion place today, such as mett slices, solice, friikadellen, sausage or egg salad. We also had an appetite for something in the way; unfortunately, misdisplay. So we had to dispose and order flame cake with Parmas ham, rocket and Parmesan as well as Rhabarbkuchen; we drank Karlsberg Pils and Coffee Hag. While I had the slight suspicion of my last flame cake that it could have been TK goods, today's flame cake was made clear, crispy, very well occupied and tasted really good. The rhubarb cake was also quite convincing. And you don't have to say anything about Karlsberg Pils and Coffee Hag. The whole is worth four stars; But I'm taking off a star because of the lack of or not available offer of cold food. Stay under the line three stars. The price/performance ratio can be seen for a day trip, although the prices for fillet steaks for me appear to be too high by at least two to three euros. But who eats Filet Steaks in a day trip! Especially since the weights on the map are quite vague with 200 to 250 grams and you still do not know if the weight display for the raw steak (as unfortunately there are many restaurants that pass the frying loss to the guest in unpaid fashion) or for the roasted steak (as it is). The worst would be in the Junkerwald so that you would not have more than 150 grams of meat on the plate for EUR 29.00! Among the excursions with beer gardens known to me in the large area of Saarbrücken, the restaurant Junkerwald takes one of the front places for me; I can recommend this place with a certain conscience!
