Mama Tomy - Blankenberge

When I went to pay, I inquired about needing a reservation for breakfast. The server assured me that we could come in for breakfast without a reservation. Unfortunately, the breakfast experience was inconsistent, much like the level of kindness we received. My advice would be for the restaurant to put in more effort when serving new customers, as it seems like they do not prioritize the customer's experience. It's a shame, because after our experience with the pancakes, we had planned on coming back for breakfast on August 15th, but now we may reconsider.

We opted for breakfast at this restaurant. Unfortunately, we did not receive a warm greeting upon arrival, but we were promptly given the bill. Perhaps this makes things easier for the staff. However, what bothered me the most was the fact that the coffee tasted like soap. Another patron also remarked that the coffee smelled strange. I found it frustrating to bring this up. I mentioned it to the staff and apologized for doing so. The staff member insisted that the coffee was fine, noting that she had just had some herself that morning. However, she declined to taste it and simply left it with me. I ended up taking matters into my own hands and ordered a hot chocolate instead. No one offered an apology or thanked us for our visit, but perhaps they should consider making amends. A simple greeting doesn't cost anything. I hope they take our feedback into consideration, although I am doubtful. I hope that others did not experience any stomach issues after their breakfast. I wouldn't wish that upon anyone. Hopefully, the next visit will be of higher quality and the staff will be more responsive to customer feedback. Unfortunately, I cannot give them a glowing review based on this experience.

I read the criticism people dared to eat at Mama Tomy, expect for this price not three star restaurants! I'll be fine. I'm sure they'll see me back here, and at the quality of food, there was nothing to see, the service, self-control, and there will be plenty! The seats were clean, the tables and staff were nice.

I cannot fathom how anyone could say anything good about this place. The mixed grill was a strange combination of blue and green colored meats, shaped in a bizarre way. Our child refused to eat anything after trying the child's spaghetti, opting instead for the fish covered in an odd glaze and cheese. The salad bar was unappetizing, with wilted lettuce and strange vegetables. The fresh fruit seemed to be overflowing with pesticides, with no clear explanations given. If you want to get food poisoning, this is the place to go. I'll give it 2 stars only because 0 and 1 are not options.

The food is good for the price of 13 euros. You shouldn't compare it to a top retaurant. It's for reruns.
