Bidrage med feedbackThe restaurant i wanted to go to was called Sol D'Or but it was closed so i took a punt on another where there was a group just finishing and a couple eating thinking i should get served ok. Big mistake i should have checked the reviews but made a mistake as was very hungry. I am learning Spanish at the moment. When there was no sign of my meal Turbot fish after 15 mins the waiter came over and said sorry and gave me some olives. The waiter (who could not speak English but that was ok) then came over 10 mins later and said sorry again. He blamed the big group that had just left. 5 mins later her came over again and said sorry so i said Comido muy tarde? Waiter then blamed the fact there was only one person in the kitchen which i took offence at as the waiter was just blaming anyone and I was very unhappy with this. I asked how many minutes and the service just dragged on. Then the wind blew up and the table cloth was not fastened to any tables and toppled my large beer on my phone, glasses and leg. I told the waiter who gave me a towel to dry my leg, phone and glasses. the waiter gave me a half a glass of beer even though the whole large glass had toppled over. The waiter did not try and secure the table cloth. I tried to do this myself. I had my meal and then asked for the bill La Cuenta, Por favor. The waiter came with the bill and said sorry again. I then said Pedido quisiera un descuento (i would like to request a discount). The waiter got angry and said they had given me a glass of beer for free. I said Tu Culpa. He said he gave me a beer. I said comida muy tarde (the meal was very late). The waiter ignored this. So I had to pay 20Euros for a beer to be spilt down my leg and have to wash my trousers, my sticky phone is cleaned and working and my sun glasses are not sticky and cleaned and i had to wait over 40 mins for a fish when no one was ordering any food during this time as there were no new customers. I hope social media and real reviews can make owners realise that they need to do basic things right. I have learnt to read reviews when on the move regardless of being tired and hungry and choose more carefully. Adam R, Southampton
We had a selection of tapas for lunch here and found the food quality to be good, the little fish did have some bones but no more than would be expected. The bill of 34,70€ for four adults and three children including drinks and a jug of sangria was very reasonable. The service was prompt and agreeable and the toilet was clean. We enjoyed it if others seem not to have.
Not much to add to the other reviews. The quality of the food was so-so. A menu of 20 euros would definitely have to be better than this, that 's for sure. The owner of the restaurant didn 't really know how to describe the dishes in terms of ingredients, and just said things like very tasty or it contains seafood when asked about the types of seafood the platter would have. They were also very slow serving and had to be reminded of all the things we had asked for. The paella negra was oily and the two people who ate it didn 't feel really well afterwards. The best part was the dessert, though. One of my friends asked for a strawberry cake and was presented with what you can see on the picture. At least we laughed for a good while, so thanks for that. I am sure that you can find other places that are way better, but if you are desperate... well, eat here at your own risk.
