Indian Temptations - BLAIR ATHOL

It was 1:30 o'clock kn on the morning when I went there with my family with a 4 year old child. the lady on the theke refused to serve us food and asked to instruct us to take away. the way she spoke and took, was very...unreasonable I was already Indian attempt and we love eating there, but today's behavior was not acceptable at all. the great problem were the people before us almost 5 tables that they have let in, and we asked them very few times, but she was not even disturbed to answer. never again.

I have been eating here for close to 15 years. The best Indian food around I had a business up the road from them and some times my staff and I would work late. I would ask them were they would like to have some...dinner from stupid question) they would always want it from Indian temptations. Unfortunately I no longer have my business up the road but that doesn’t stop me driving down to get my fix. It’s a very causal dine in. But that’s part of the charm. Love what you do

So, the last place I expected to be 15 o'clock on Sunday is an Indian restaurant on main north rd in blair athol. trip Advisor reviews showed that this could be the place to replace the lunch I had missed, so we gave it a...try there seemed to be more on the market cante than restaurant, we were not sure. the personal ignored us, however, so we have just chosen a table among the numerous families that appeared indian (a good sign! . a fairly standard list of Indian meals offered on the menu, so I went to order the counter, but was handed over a pen and pad paper and asked to write back to my table what I wanted. a few minutes later a friendly waitress appeared and took our “order” or at least the paper list that I had prepared (after the review with us.) so we waited. two of four were dressed, but not the sparkling water we ordered. then we waited. after a last I asked a worker for our glittering water and we waited. another, while later one of our remaining dishes and the water arrived. we ate and enjoyed all available dishes. the fourth court never arrived, but as usual we had ordered over so that it was not missed and I did not pay at the end for them. great taste and worth money. just be patient.

This place has always been my favourite place for Indian takeaway food! They’ve changed locations a few times during the process of building a new restaurant which is now next door to the EKAM groceries. A nice simple atmosphere, suitable for families, couples and friendly...gatherings. No liquor license yet and there definitely needs to be more signage and direction in the restaurant as it can be confusing as you walk in (if dining in). Nonetheless this is by far the best curry I’ve had in SA particularly their vegetarian curry! Definitely recommend this hidden gem of the North to anyone wanting a delicious and affordable hearty meal.
