Bidrage med feedbackTaste pretty good, but 1 star out because the price is not worth it, plus I could hardly see or taste any “salted egg yolk” (I know how it looks, it could be ground and mixed and dyed with soy sauce, but I also don’t taste it). It was nice to try it, but next time I get something else. I still go back simply because this is the closest Dim Sum I can get in this area. SF and Chi do better jobs, but hey it is a small college town here, need to adapt my expectations accordingly. But for glutinous goats, I definitely spend my money next time in Oasis. Frozen ones that were boiled correctly, you can't say the difference.
Good dumplings, although you definitely want to order more than one serving for a fixed meal. That said the portions are cheap, so the purchase is worth several. It seems as if most of their business is take-out, but so you will not be shut off by people not sitting during lunchtime. Good food, fast service, quality restaurant. I'm looking forward to coming back. See you in 2025!
Good service and not too long waiting time. The menu screens took awhile to order correctly, but the waiting staff was all friendly and helpful with the menu. The food was all good and delicious.
Unless I'm woefully unaware, this is the only place in Blacksburg to get any type of soup dumpling experience. The dumplings don't have a lot (they're advertised as mini soupy dumplings) but they taste delicious! Absolute comfort food. I'm also a big fan of the pork buns, sesame noodles, shrimp dumplings and the sweet sour noodles. The fried dumplings are essentially gyoza very good, very delicious sauce. I haven't tried anything that I can say I dislike. Prices are VERY fair for a college town. Take out seems to be the main thing, but the inside of the shop is clean and cute. Employees are fairly friendly. I would love to see full sized soup dumplings and a cucumber salad that sticks around on the menu soon!
Affordable and good dumplings, but you might want to get more than one serving if you want to make it a meal.
