Nosh & Quaff - Birmingham

We have always found the service here to be very good and the atmosphere really excellent. Eat is easy, but delicious. beautiful location near the rathaus. it's a great place to meet before it starts.

The service manager was very nice and took my booking and was very professional during my dinner. I was a bit afraid of ratings on tripadvisor because of the reviews of the lobster. they were right. it was rubbery and not edible. it was very hard to get it even out of the dish. it went back. for someone with a limited menu they need to make simple things good. that was extremely poor. the server was over sharp and not in contact with what was going on with our meal. it felt all very hurried and let the night and eat experience down. the obligor has made a reasonable job on harm limitation, like one of the male server. I will not go back in a hurry.

Second time at nosh and quaff and this time I went for the hot dog, the so huge and full taste I was not in the position to finish it (which was a first for this special dish around the table were chicken wings and a lobster, all cooked to perfection and very juicy. a very warm reception from the personal, a lobster carving demonstration at the table and super decor in the inner makes nosh and quaff one must for anyone who likes her hearty eating, I often come across phrases that stick with me and keep it easy, stupid is one of them. Close to the picturesque end of the city center of birmingham, victoria, this place is a great one if you want an American meal on the market. I had the chicken wings in a smoked Habrnero sauce, absolutely beautiful. very fleshy with very little fat. a completely different quality than the wings I had in various American style restaurants. a side of the makkaroni cheese is an absolute must! a very filling side, but a perfect match with the wings. cocktails were great, I tried the bronx martini with fresh orange juice. delicious. I can't fail the service at all. a very attentive observatory and the rest of the staff were very helpful.

This place reminds me of the Old American Diners with waitresses on roller skates and booth seats! It's got a classy interior, service is great. The food more importantly is simply divine, my favourites being the lobster roll pot-roast beef which pairs well with a cold beer! A def must try over the upcoming summer
