Morrisons Cafe - Birmingham

I went to this restaurant this morning with my wife. To start with, the cappuccino was cold and made from a machine. When our breakfast was served, it was also cold. We were so cold while we were eating that we didn't even take off our coats. I hope someone will reach out to me about this experience.

I stopped by for a coffee while waiting for my wife. It was self-service only, and the ordering machine was hard to use because the touchscreen was not working properly. There were several tables that needed to be cleared, and some of the furniture looked old and stained. My coffee was lukewarm and the Belgian bun was hard, most likely being out for most of the day. It's disappointing because my previous experiences at this restaurant have always been good.

We inquired about getting our toast buttered and were pleasantly surprised when Sandra agreed to do so. She was very customer-focused and made our experience enjoyable. The hot buttered toast was delicious and led us to ordering more food and drinks. We appreciate Morrison's Rubery for having a skilled employee like Sandra on their team, who was attentive to customers. The cafeteria was also clean and well-organized. Overall, a great experience thanks to the perfect toast and excellent service from Sandra.

We had breakfast here ordered the full English with bloomer toast. The breakfast arrived not very appetising and sliced toast not impresses but at least once you ordered and got your drinks the food was table service

My 92 year old mother loves Morrisons at Rubery which is why my daughter and I take her most weeks to do a bit of shopping and have lunch in the cafe which is fine. However the last time we used the pharmacy about 18 months ago I had to complain because we were completely ignored by the staff behind the counter and I vowed I wouldn't use it again. This Thursday my mother needed something from the pharmacy and I did give it another go. There was a man in front of me who slammed his purchase down and walked out and after standing there for a good few minutes I also walked out. There was a man doing prescriptions who just totally ignored me and my mother who is in a wheelchair. Definitely will not be trying again.
