Pappadeaux Seafood Kitchen - Birmingham

The food is very good and the service was excellent. It was a 30-minute waiting time, but it didn't take long. We both had the seafood sampler. The shrimp was deliciously seasoned, but only 3. There were many cancers. The Pommes were very simple. I was expecting them to taste much better. I also ordered the banana pudding and it was delicious!! Now I would definitely go back for it. It's $8.95. The food as a whole is a bit expensive for me. I don't see it as a fine food, but maybe it should be.

Great food. Great service. The shrimps were the best ever. The seafood plate with dirty rice was delicious. The cheesecake was amazing. Very generous portions. The restaurant was clean staff friendly.

Where should I start? My mother called this restaurant a few days ago and asked if she could make a reservation today, Saturday at 5:00. It was said who she talked to on the phone, they do not accept reservations. Lustig, I go online to pappadeaux general website and they provide reservations until you are looking for the Birmingham location? Anyway, we arrive at 4:30 on a Saturday with not a single place to park. Had to drive around several times and get someone out of the way. Red flag

Used to be good food and great service. Always order my favourite aeafood Gumbo, this time there is no oyster, used to have oyster in their gumbo. cat fish was good not great. Looks like quality not as good as usual?
