Amore - Birmingham

The place from outside looked shady but the atmosphere was nice and cozy inside. Food wasn’t that good. Bread was really cheesy and the anti pasta was not as good as well. I personally prefer handmade pasta better than machine made ones. It wasn’t filled with much flavor as well. Over all it doesn’t taste like slow or fine cooking. Don’t know why this place got so many good reviews. I think for the price was not worth of the taste. The server was excellent! Loved him!

Nothing will ever compare to the excellence at Amore!! From the minute you walk in the door, you are treated like royalty. They go above and beyond to provide incredible service. Amore pays attention to every detail and treats everyone like a #1 customer. The food is out of this world good. True Authentic Italian which is hard to come by. The servers are all so polite and kind. We love amore!! It’s better than any other Italian in Birmingham.

Decor is old world. Music is pleasant. Staff is friendly and reasonably attentive. Food was well prepared, and then....The coffee was luke warm, the deserts were not up to the level of the dinner itself. In fact, the cannoli was overly sweet and the shell of it was old. The tiramisù was uninspired. I can't speak to consistency after one visit, but I can't discount first impressions either.

This is one of the few restaurants where I feel you could order anything off of the menu and it be a 10/10. Their food is absolutely to die for!

Always a pleasure at amore! the food was fabulous as always, and we had the most beautiful server called dj. he took care of us so well!
