Hamiltons On The Square - Birkenhead

The renovation on the hamilton square station has made the place look much more inviting and clean. the friendly staff at mtogo shop are knowledgeable on the local transport system and can sell tickets to any station in Britain. trains call here every 3-4 minutes in the daytime in direction liverpool, new brighton, west kirby, chester and ellesmere port.

Much better since the revamp, a few more benches would be good. Staff are friendly and helpful

A very easy to navigate station that is rather large. It is easy to change platforms and has step free access. Very good station.

I really like the historical 1886 station, along with James Street Station. It has elevators that descend about 30 meters below ground to reach the platforms, or you can always opt for the stairs, which offer a bit of a climb!

We frequently used this station during our stay at the local Premier Inn. A big thank you to the very helpful gentleman at the ticket office who provided us with advice on tickets and more. It was a great help for our family of four as we explored the city of Liverpool.
