El Saltillo Mexican - Biloxi

Our favorite Mexican restaurant on the coast. Everything is always top notch. We order take out someone's but this time we ate inside. We usually order the California support burrito or the steak tacos. We've had them hard and soft. They are to diefor. We even tried the taco lengue (cow tongue) last time we ordered take out because i wanted to see how it compared toauthentic places I've been to in Brownsville and it was amazing. My husband even liked it.

I have never had a bad experience here. Stopped in for lunch with a coworker. It was perfect as usual. Also love the fact that I can order my favorite dish al a carté!! Enchilada burrito.

I don?t want to be that customer, but I will for this review. I ordered the beef burrito from El Saltillo. I asked for no cheese. My order came out with cheese on it. I kindly let the waiter know that I asked for no cheese. He brought out a new one afew minutes later. It was tasty. I got to the last bite and a small piece of raw meat fell out. I examined it to make sure itwasn?t seasoning because the burrito was covered in red sauce. I already sent back my burrito once, I did not want to be thatperson who complains about their food, especially when they already ate it. I really wanted to enjoy my food here. I was bummedthat I had to confront the waiter. I let him know what I found. He didn?t look at the meat, he just said it was pink because ofthe chilly seasoning. He offered a discount. I poured water over the piece of meat to see if it was in fact the seasoning. Themeat became more pink. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone.

The restaurant was clean, the food was great and the price was awesome! 5 star for those things! The staff was a little shy and when we checked out the girl made no eye contact and gave no thank you for your business , All of our margarita glasses had achip on them as well as my drink cup. Which is why I could not give 5 stars for overall. But I will return for the food andMargaritas ????

Many years ago I stopped coming here because of some quality issues that I observed. A friend wanted to celebrate a birthday there today so I was reluctantly accepting to go. I was very surprised and delighted that everything was so clean and fresh. Theservice was impeccable. The food was delicious and the restaurant was spotless.
