Bidrage med feedbackWe didn't pass Big Pine. We stopped for lunch at Copper Top BBQ. Excellent choice. Atmosphere, service and food. We are French and frankly it's great. Thank you and see you soon if we come back to this city
Lots of great `Q here! The six barbecues and the plumes of sweet-smelling smoke wafting across the 395 just north of Big Pine make the Copper Top BBQ hard to miss. Check the posted menus, make your selections and line up at the window to order. You'll get a receipt with a number to take into the service area. Have some of your party grab a table while you wait for your order, which will be called out quicker than you think. Drinks are available in the service area, as well. There's a wet-wipes dispenser on the table but grab plenty of napkins along with any utensils at the counter. It's all good here, so you won't be disappointed. Try some of their coleslaw, too.
Tried cheap thrills: Grilled cheese sandwich along with Coleslaw. Worth every penny! An additional star for the owner!
It felt your at someone farm having bbq gathering but it's at restaurant come hungry
If you ever drive 395, this is a restaurant you don’t want to miss. They have the best pork ribs I’ve ever had, no exaggeration. Outside, the pork ribs are just moisture enough and show a bit of oily glaze; inside, they are tender all the way to the bones. You could even easily peel the membrane around the bones off. The tri tip is also really delicious. It has the smoke flavor and also very tender in the middle. We really wish the location could have been easier to get to, but at least they have the vacuum sealed packages that we could taste it again at home.
