Vanilla Cafe - BIELLA

Been there a few days ago for a birthday party, during the happy hour. We had to wait a while for our drinks, but that was understandable since the local was quite crowded. The buffet was rich and often refilled. There were pasta, pizza, panini, salami, brie cheese, parmesan, some sweets and so on. Just the spring rolls were so spongey to make you think that those were sadly reheated. However, the reason why I did not give them all the 5 points is another. When we ordered our drinks, I asked for a whichever fruit cocktail at their discretion but with no kiwi in it. They told me that that was not possible 'cause they already prepared the mix before. Now, I am not a bartender (so I do not know the logistics behind making drinks for happy hours) but, could they simply make me another cocktail on that very moment? Maybe, I would have received more attention by the staff if I was in a smaller group. In that case, my requests were because of my personal taste, but what if I had some kind of allergy? Nonetheless, I have to admit it, the cocktail was great and really well presented. Finally, I suggest whoever else is planning to go there, to ask to be sitted inside. First, you will be closer to the buffet and second, the dehor they got outside, is on the other side of the street, in a parking area and next to the trash bins.

Great coffee during the day with friendly staff. Also, great for an aperitivo best in Biella! We're from England and will be back soon! Kevin e Emma.
