Le Feu Der Flammkuchen - Bielefeld

Flammkuchen is a dish from Alsace that bit of Europe that can't quite decide to be French or German. Thicker than a crepe, but thinner than a pizza and coated in creme fraiche, the flammkuchen is served with a variety of sweet and savoury toppings. To my mind some worked better than others; my favourite savouries were the classic and classic with cheese, although all the sweet ones I tried were really nice. Only go for the all you can eat offer if you really can eat a lot, you need to eat AT LEAST TWO whole ones each to make it worth your while! I normally have a good appetite but felt a classic and one sweet one would have been ample. Good service in a quaint garden it was a phenomenally hot day.

Went several times, can recommend the all you can eat if you're 3+ hungry people which gives you a chance to taste through the menu, you can also customize your order, nice place for a fast meal or a relaxed lunch or dinner

French came to expect the menu consists exclusively of flatbreads, French onion soup and perhaps three salads. I'm gonna say the side salad was brilliant...

Great location, delicious flashcake and super service. We like to come back. There is also something for children. Our kids were thrilled by the little monkey.

A very nice, cozy ambience! Even though I prefer it a bit brighter when eating, because I like to see more what I eat and with whom nevertheless full score, because I felt very comfortable, the service was very friendly and attentive and the food very, very delicious! I would just not recommend taking the salmon cheese flame cake at the beginning, it is very salty (I had to drink a lot) and also satisfies especially with the many cheese, so unfortunately after that nothing fits in thanks for the beautiful evening and the delicious food!
