We come to this Cracker Barrel nearly every weekend. They replaced the fresh fruit French toast with apple. I asked the waitress if they c could do the fresh fruit. She was very kind. Said they had the fruit so she didn’t see why they wouldn’t. But, she had to ask. She was told no. I do not understand why this would matter and just a flat no without an explanation in my opinion is rude and not the customer service I expected. I will take my weekend breakfast elsewhere from now on.

First of all the waitress was not friendly and she barely came by the table. My order was not pleasing, the manager did offer to re-cook my food although I think the right thing to do would have been re-cook the food and discount it. How do you charge $1.39 for cheese and only give 3 pieces of shredded cheese in a bowl of grits. The best part about this visit was Tiffany who was a waitress from a different area, she was extremely pleasant and professional and that is why I gave a 2 for the atmosphere because was how she treats her guests is always a joy. Her great personality makes even bad food more tolerable. Because in addition to have grits come out with 3 pieces of shredded cheese I was also originally served burnt catfish. I don't care how fresh you claim your grease is catfish shouldn't be hard and smell burnt.

We love going to Cracker barrel but this visit was one of the best we have ever had .waitress was very friendly and quick We ordered our food I couldn't believe how fast it came out.i ordered fried chicken it was excellent .the mashed potatoes were my only complaint I know they leave skins on but when you get 2 big globs of skin it turned my stomach I didn't eat the mashed potatoes. My girlfriend friend ordered the sampler she got a big bowl of chicken and dumplings and I big piece of meatloaf.the portions were much better than last visit and everything was hot and fresh.our waitress was very good
