Authentic atmosphere, first class hospitality, and great food! We tried various dishes. All of them were wonderfully presented, delicious and served pretty fast. Meze plate and the freshly baked bread was fantastic as well as the çıtır mantı. The beans in the clay pot that I ordered was a bit overcooked though. This was the only negative side of the entire experience. The interiors were traditionally refurnished. It takes you back in time to old days. Reasonable pricing for this quality and authenticity. Overall score 4.4/5 for an Authentic Turkish restaurant

This restaurant was a surprise. The food was delicious, the service and facilities excellent. We ordered several types of lamb and it was exquisite. Fantastic!

Great place. Everything we ordered was delicious. I highly recommend hummus, backbone lamb, and grilled beef shish. The seasonal fish with cream butter and onions was amazing as well. I recommend this place for anyone in Istanbul. However, our server, Mustre, was terrible. At first, he got our orders wrong and developed an attitude because of that. We clearly ordered 3 different types of lamb dishes but instead were given all the same backbone lamb. When asked, it was fixed but he made it look like it was our fault. Then, when it was time to cash out, he magically added another 200 tkl. Overall, disappointing for otherwise what could have been a great experience.

Food overall is above average in quality and taste. Most of the dishes are top notch but some unfortunately are not as good, especially the desserts. So, you kind of need to know what to order before going so that you eat the best dishes. Atmosphere is delightful. It is located in an old beautifully renovated building. Staff is very very friendly. Prices are above average for the quantity of food served.
