Bidrage med feedbackThis is gonna be a weird review but just bear with me. Last week my grandmother had a stroke. It was bad. Really bad. I got the call to come see her the unsaid context being it was to say goodbye. We stayed for a while and by the time we left, it was late. I hadn’t eaten in hours and I was starving. I’d heard of joes and had been wanting to try it out and it just so happens it was still open. We got there and there was Joe, an oven, and not much else. I forgot it was cash only so I sheepishly told him I’d be back later with cash. He said “what do you want? I’ll put it on and I’ll have it ready for you when you get back” I dunno man. I was very very tired. And I know it’s pretty standard to call in a pizza and pay when ya get there. This was not unique. But there was something about the sincerity of this dude and this moment of kindness that just broke through me in that moment. I got cash, paid the 16 bucks for the pizza, and went home. It was a great pizza. Maybe it was just the circumstances but there is something intangibly special about Joe’s pizza and in a very very sad moment for me, it made me happy. And for that, I am grateful.
Good stuff, I wish they accepted credit cards but the place is so small I understand.
All the way from the ATL! We were looking for a pizza place and happen to stumble upon Joes!! Amazing food and welcoming owner! Definitely my favorite pizza place. Best pizza I ever had as well. True and authentic. Will definitely comeback!!!
Some of the best pizza around the area. New York Italian thin crust style. get the meatball subs if he has them on special, also the best around
Ordered a pie from Joes during the holiday, thee best in town. From our family to yours, happy New years Joe! We’ll be seeing you in 2024!
