Bidrage med feedbackThe best bar and kitchen in Beverly used to be Barrel House. Then they changed it to Ellis square and my wife and I really thought it went down hill. The old head bartender was kind of awkward and the food wasn't what barrel houses were so we stopped going. Over the last year or so we've been going back. The new staff and new bartenders are awesome. The kitchen is pretty good. So we are back to being semi regulars.
This place is still rocking it! The menu continues to change to reflect the season, including on the bar side. The mood is just what you want, whether you are excited or subdued, and the staff know how to read the room. If you go just for the cocktails, (Brandon's Mai Tai can't be beat) you'd be perfectly satisfied. Add the crafted food, and you'll feel like you belong.
Could be a little more quiet in there... acoustics were poor
Excellent food, fantastic service and we got to the show on time. We can't wait to go back
We were a little disappointed when we didn't see an entree on the menu that we saw online. The waiter explained it was a seasonal dish and the menu changed to their summer menu. The menu is somewhat limited. We decided on the pork chop and it was the best pork chop I have ever had. It was so tender! It came with 2 sides. I got the mini salad and ratatouille. We asked for bread and the waiter brought over delicious toasted bread. We all enjoyed our meals.
