Prospect Gourmand - Beverly Hills

This restaurant is a hidden gem! The dishes are beautifully prepared, fresh, and offer creative flavors in a lovely setting. We were impressed by the variety of flavors in every dish we tried. We took advantage of the happy hour specials and enjoyed the perfectly balanced salmon collar, Brussels sprouts, and guacamole. The gazpacho was a standout, and we all agreed it was the best we had ever tasted. For our entrees, we shared the duck breast and short ribs. Despite a half-hour wait, the dishes did not disappoint. The duck breast was cooked perfectly rare, with a fruity sauce and Sichuan pepper flavors that surprisingly worked well together. The short ribs were juicy and tender, falling off the bone and served with delicious mashed potatoes. The only critique was that the short ribs were a bit salty, but overall everything was delicious. I was incredibly impressed by the innovative dishes and delicious flavors at this restaurant. I have tried multiple dishes and each one has been fantastic. While the prices may be on the higher end, the food is so good that I didn't even mind. The owner is lovely and the restaurant has a relaxed atmosphere with both indoor and outdoor seating. But the standout is definitely the food - some of my favorites include the braised short rib, crispy umami brussel sprouts, escargots, lobster roll, sweet potato taquitos, and mushroom tacos.

The truffle Mac n cheese is a MUST!! I would come back just for that . I also ordered the steak frites . The fries were crispy and delcious . I didn't like the chimmichurri spread over the steak, I would ask them to put it on the side next time . They also are known for their tacos which I would love to come back to try and also have a great happy hour menu worth checking out. Friendly service and you have both indoor and outdoor seating options .
