Bidrage med feedbackAMAZING!!! New to the area and this was our first time trying Olive Tree Cafe. We are a big fan of the food and had our local favorite back in Minneapolis so excited that we found something similar here in the Quad Cities. . It's always a good sign when you show up and there's a line 5 people deep to order. Staff was limited but I'm not going to deduct any stars for extended wait time. Staff was super friendly and super hopeful. Food was better than I hoped and they now have customers for life for as long as we live in the area. . Pictured is there veggie platter, chicken kabob with rice and the gyro platter with rice.
This is one of the best little places in the area! I love their chicken tandoori with balsamic rice and hummus. I would not recommend the paninis because there's maybe one or two slices of meat and then mostly bread. It's not the best. But everything else is exceptional. The owner and staff are great people. Inexpensive, best bang for your buck.
I thoroughly enjoyed my meal at the restaurant. The total cost of my meal, including tip, was around $14. I ordered the veggie platter, even though I am not a vegetarian, and found it to be delicious. It had been a long time since I last had Mediterranean food, and I was pleased with my choice. While I have some minor criticisms, I believe the meal was worth the price. The portion size was quite large and I ended up finishing all of it, despite being a smaller adult. The pictures show just how filling the meal was.
I really enjoy this restaurant. The food is fantastic and the prices are reasonable. It appears to be a family-run establishment with a very welcoming owner. The atmosphere is simple, nothing extravagant, but if you're seeking delicious, healthy food at a fair price with friendly service, this is the place to visit.
Bottom line: the food is absolutely amazing. The place itself is a little rough around the edges but the food is great which ultimately that matters most!
