Matchbox Bethesda

First time at Matchbox. Just missed the happy hour that ends at 6 pm. I'm definitely going to comeback and try it! The kids menu has the usual: chicken fingers, burger, grill cheese, etc. I really really really wanted to try the fig pizza, but they were out which tells me it's probably everything I thought it'd be. I did the pork belly sandwich, which was good, but I found it to be greasy. But, that bang shrimp appetizer was delicious. Our waitress kept up with her

Very nice dine in experience! I made reservations and met a friend there for lunch. COVID-19 restrictions were being well enforced. Everyone was masked, you sign in on arrival so they can track occupancy, hand sanitizer near entrance/exit, and paperless menus. I ordered the shrimp and fries with a great modification offered by my server--switching the regular batter for tempura batter. My friend enjoyed his blackened chicken fettuccine. Service was attentive. Nice

My daughter and I were around the corner getting ice cream. But I guess my husband wasn?t in the mood for the same thing. So he grabbed a table on the patio at this place and ordered himself a drink and some dessert. The atmosphere was perfect and I did browse the menu since we recently had a friend mention loving their pizzas. My husband ordered a drink from the bar and said it was one of the better ones he?s had in quite a while. He also ordered himself the carrot

It could have been the beautiful day, but lunch out with my grandmother at Bethesda?s #matchbox was was very nice. The wait staff was pleasant, the food was tasty and we enjoyed the outdoor seating.

Well?not too excited to write this review on this location as the brand has really become super commercial and lacks the original integrity and charm it once had but here we go?started with the Rose? Margarita and it was great but out app was bland and kinda gross it was artichoke spinach dip and it was loose and had 0 flavor?moving on to the Cobb salad and I added salmon?the salad had little to no dressing and the salmon was flat and dry?really disappointing the pesto pizza
