House Of Milae - Bethesda

Eating is good. The staff is friendly and fast. The environment is cold and not too loud. The rice wine is really good and served in a beautiful large ceramic cup with a pan to spoon wine in your cup. You will also give you more banana when you finish them, which is very appreciated is not enough places to do this. Great experience!

My family like to eat / order from here for special occasions, or only if we want some really delicious Korean food! The staff are super friendly and attentive, the mandu is absolutely a must, and the bulgogi is so juicy and tasteful and definitely some of the best in the area. It's a bit more on the "expensive" side, but I would say it's 100% worth the quality of food you get!

Well, I was attracted by the scrolling sign that says “first Authentic Korean restaurant in Bethesda”. The food is good.

I can never return to Chinese takeout again. The Korean food was very authentic and delicious. I had already got an exception from this place and that was the first time I had eaten. Takeout was really good, but it was amazing to eat fresh. The place is crowded during lunch, so if you have a big party like us, I recommend getting it right before noon. We were able to sneak a large round table in the back. Some people in our group were new to Korean food, some did not like sharp, and some liked a lot of heat. All our preferences have been included. I recommend the seafood pancake, which has been plastered so quickly that I could not get a picture, and the bibimbap with crispy rice.

Super fantastic!! I could not have imagined there is such a good Korean restaurant around Bethesda. It was much better than Annadale and Fairfax's famous Korean restaurants, which mostly changed the food into sweeter or saltier way. I had Bulgogi, Japchae(sweet potato noodle), Spicy stired squid and Pa jeon. Not only did they keep genuine Korean flavor, but also it was really tasty and fresh. I woud definately recommend this restaurants to anyone finding a real Korean restaurant around DMV area.
